Good lord he stacked it up so hard on some of those landings!!! I can't believe he was able to pull it off after all that whiplash and sand in his teeth!
I'm not going to take anything away from Sam Reynold's double backflip or the whole lot of bmxer's who can tre'flip over wooded ramps and djs, but riding down a ridge trail w/ exposure and what not adds a different element to the game(not necessarily any easier or harder).
I bet Paul would have a hell of a time just doing a double back flip at a skate park and the bulk of your bmx riders would have trouble just riding a big bike on the line Paul double back flipped over....just too many variables to get into it and have a viable argument.
Word! The cranks look great and all the mech friendly features are nice. But why do ISIS?! Might as well be DOA...
Judging by ps3maniac92's name he's too blacked out on video games and not old enough to remember the crankiness and quarks of the ISIS spline interface(ie crank arms falling off at random regardless how you torqued them down).
Nuh-uh! It retracts the landing gear for extra long flights!
Awwww crap....what am I a nerd? I was most impressed by the rotors. Not to say the rest of the group isn't sweet. But those finely machined cooling fins are amazing!
I'm sold! Do want!!!
Nice to see Neko Mullaly crack the top 20! He'll be one to watch over the next few seasons!
Pre 2012 Elixirs are temper-mental for sure. Knock on wood; all of the 2012 Elixirs I have worked on seem to have all the previous years "bugs" worked out of them.
Bleeding issues aside, I have run into number of pre 2012 Elixir 5s that needed caliper overhauls within a seasons use due to the pistons not recessing into the caliper and not leaving enough room between the rotor and pads for any adjustment what so ever.
Ha! Same here! Can't help but wonder if it has something to do how flat and low to the ground that bike is into that berm!
The next step is to pair it with those cassettes with the 8, 9, and 10t cogs with the stepped freehub bodies and what not. About Us
